Rear fog lights are there to help you be seen in poor visibility. Front fog lights are there to tell the world you're a moron and nothing else. If they served any useful purpose (in any kind of visibility) they would be compulsory, like rear ones are.

Anyone who does this needs to be dragged out of their shitty bangers and have their mouths gaffa taped around their exhausts. Then, get in and put them out of their misery.

You have to be incredibly, outstandingly dumb to think shining fogs in daylight makes you look cool. It's as 'cool' as the little jackasses who go around with their jeans around their knees.

And yes, it's full beam treatment given to any muppet coming my way with them on.

I don't think I have ever used my fogs. They are useless where there located they need to be lower.

The one's i find the worst are the Rear fog lights, I find 90% of road users put them one when there is a slight mist, Just shows a lack there knowledge or a consideration for other road users.

I always give them the taste of rear/front fog lights so they get to know what their doing ;) they turn it on even here in Kuwait! its a very hot climate most of the year and it never every going to snow or even getting near foggie-like weather althou' some might think it will ;)

Enfield, you got my 'answer of the day' award for that. Made me laugh. Sorta grumpy old man style - like me. Apologies if you're a youngster!

I wanna see one of the low slung jeans brigade have em come right down in a busy street. Anyone seen that?!

I agree with everything !

Fogs - just like people ferrying kids in 'safer' 4x4s, or not letting them walk to school becuase of the traffic (which of course they make worse).

And don't start me on headlight use - seems that as soon as the clock ticks past noon these days its time for the headlights to go on. Is it just me or do others find oncoming headlights at, say, 4pm (today) more distracting than if not used in normal visibility ?

Side lights and fog lights is the worst!

Personally I do pull people for misuse and I do inform them in no uncertain terms to turn them off. On the spot attitude test or if I've spoken to them before decides the outcome in terms of a £30 non endorsable fixed penalty notice.

It really does amaze me how many people have no idea how the light controls on their vehicle work though. Most haven't a clue they've got them on despite the green illumination on the dashboard telling them!

This is a pet hate of mine up there with bodged about number plates. Grrrr.

i have to agree with " lockie ", i see lots of people with their front fogs on,, does not bother or blind me in the slightest, what is much more dangerous is the halfwits who think that it is clever to try and blind someone whom they asses as doing something dangerous with what is undoubtedly a much more dangerous action,, wonder how smart they would feel if someone they had just blinded ran smack into the front of their car and caused some real injuries ar even worse !!!! morons... :? :?
